Report: Apple producing Dr. Dre video content for Apple Music


The Hollywood Reporter reported that Apple is producing a TV show with Dr. Dre. The rumor is its for upcoming Apple TV programming, but that rumor may not be entirely accurate.

The real answer is more modest: Apple has already been financing video content it uses to market Apple Music -- "to extend Apple Music," in the words of an insider. And it's doing that with the Dre show. Full stop.

Basically sounds like exclusive content to be made available via Apple Music.
