Apple donating personal protection equipment, matching donations for COVID-19

Apple CEO Tim Cook said on Twitter it is working to deliver respiration masks to healthcare workers in the US and Europe. The company is also offering matching donations from employees for relief efforts.

Apple CEO Tim Cook shared on Twitter that the company has been attempting to source necessary supplies that are needed for healthcare workers both in the U.S. and Europe, and that the company is joining â€"millions of masks†for this use. Apple also detailed some of its other updates via earlier releases, including a $15 million donation, along with two-to-one corporate matching for all employee donations that go towards COVID-19 response.
