The ever munificent mothership, company of our collective eyes, Apple, has released QuickTime 7.6, a dot-fix that includes changes that increase reliability (hurray), improve compatibility (hurrah) and enhance security (huzzah).
Here's a more detailed look at what is "new" in this patch:
Video: Improves single-pass H.264 encoding quality; Increases the playback reliability of Motion JPEG media
Audio: Improves AAC encoding fidelity; Audio tracks from MPEG video files now export consistently
Application Support: Improves compatibility with iChat and Photo Booth
Security: Does a bunch of stuff
