ScreenFlow 2.1 adds 64-bit audio support, export to Flash

Telestream Tuesday released an update to its screen casting app ScreenFlow for Mac. Version 2.1 adds a number of new features, but the headliners include an option to export your project to Flash, 64-bit audio, and auto-save.

ScreenFlow is our favorite screen recorder that can easily record a computer screen presentation. The post-editing abilities is the most impressive area where users can manipulate their actions and audio to improve presentations.

On the new features, the export to Flash will encode your project into a Flash video. Upon export, ScreenFlow will also create the associated HTML and Flash player code to easily get your video up on the Web. Another major new feature adds 64-bit support for audio capture. Telestream says the audio driver will run on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. The third major new feature is an auto-save function, which will automatically save your project in the background in case something goes horrible wrong.

Other fixes and improvements include some performance tweaks, fixes working with YouTube vs Google accounts on the YouTube export option. Still more fixes involve an issue with 44.1 kHz playback, a fix for the aspect ratio on YouTube HD uploads, better compatibility with Automator actions and others.

Version 2.1 is a free update for 2.0 customers. ScreenFlow sells for $99.
