Newer Tech NuGuard GripStand and GripBase for iPad


Newer Technology last week announced the GripStand case with optional GripBase desktop stand for the original iPad. The case is a hard plastic protective shell for the IPad with a rubber liner. The case has an detachable loop handle, that also functions as a table stand for viewing. The loop is removable and when connected allows for 360-degree movement for both portrait and landscape viewing. The GripStand is available now with a list price of $29.99.

Newer Technology also announced a combo package of the GripStand with the company's new GripBase. The GripBase includes the GripStand and a raised desktop stand. The system appears to be modular, allowing users to snap off the loop handle/stand and replace it with the free-standing stand. The combination package that includes the GripStand and GripBase is available now for $39.99.

Both packages are available in black and white models and made of polycarbonate.
