Amazon brings Kindle Reader to your browser window

Amazon looks to be working on a HTML 5 Web app for its Kindle Reader. TechCrunch notes the existence of an online reader, although Amazon has yet to announce anything. The Web app looks to essentially replace the main functions of native apps.

Likely, the move is in response to Apple's policy changes regarding to sales and linking within iOS app. Even if the Kindle App is compliant, a Web version could be a hedge against future capricious app terms.

The app is supported on the iPad and any computer running Safari or Chrome.
