OS X Yosemite launches

Apple launched its latest version of Mac OS X Thursday. OS X Yosemite was originally announced in June. For me, the most compelling feature I think is Continuity, which better links OS X and iOS. The features will require iOS 8.1, which is expected on Monday October 20th. It also requires a Mac with Bluetooth LE, which are equipped on newer Macs or may require an adapter.

OS X Yosemite is available now for free. It requires a Mac made in 2009 or newer along with some specific models from 2007 and 2008.
