Continuity Activation Tool now for USB dongles

There's a project on GitHub for making it easier to activate OS X Yosemite's Continuity feature on older Macs. The OS X feature requires Bluetooth 4.0, which means you'll need a Mac made in the past couple years.

If you have an older Mac, there have been upgrade paths available using Broadcom USB 4.0 chips. These chips are the same used in Macs, so compatibility is likely assured, provided you can swap out your existing chip in a compatible form.

Now, the tool has been updated and seems to work with USB dongles. This would seem to push back possible compatibility to some 2008 computers.

The software can be downloaded from Github and a compatibility reference chart is available.
