Showtime now available without cable


Showtime joined HBO this week in offering both live and on-demand content on a per month basis without a cable/dish subscription. Until now, streaming of Showtime required a cable/dish subscription.

Pricing for Showtime is $10.99 per month, which is $4 cheaper than HBO's offering. The service offers a 30-day trial. Showtime offers unlimited on-demand programming of original programming and movies.

Showtime is compatible with iOS devices and Apple TV, in addition to other streaming platforms.
