32GB flash in June

China Times (Chinese) reports that Samsung is preparing a high-capacity storage solution for notebook computers. Slated for release in early June, the company's 32GB NAND product will be 1.5X faster and more robust than traditional hard discs.

Moreover, Flashed-based storage, whether used in portables or desktops, high-capacity, non-volatile storage will help vendors deliver instant-on functionality--a feature users have long craved. It's also a feature needed in applications like media PCs and computer-in-vehicle.

Editor's note: High-capacity, non-volatile storage has the potential to change everything™. But, is this revolutionary or evolutionary?
