ModBook takes 'best-of-show'

Other World Computing (OWC) has announced that its ModBook, the first-ever Mac-based tablet solution, has won a best-of-show at Macworld San Francisco. Further, at the Tuesday public unveiling of the ModBook, throngs of curious show goers completely encircled the OWC booth, an event believed to be the largest ever Macworld exhibitor draw for a non-Apple announcement.
The ModBook solution is an after-market mod kit for the MacBook that adds true pen input, a new 13.3-inch widescreen LCD and an optional GPS. The ModBook solution features a tough, satin chrome plated magnesium top shell, while keeping all the powerful features of the MacBook base system.
