Apple has announced that it is adding a "gorgeous" pink iPod nano
(Apple Store) to the lineup of the world's most popular music player.
"Customers are going to love the gorgeous new pink iPod nano," said Greg Joswiak, vice president, worldwide iPod product marketing. "The pink iPod nano is perfect for people who want a great new color this spring, or who are searching for a special Valentine's Day gift."
Apple calls "pink" a much-requested color and it's available worldwide immediately for $199.
In related news, Apple has shipped Pole Position: Remix (iTunes) and Block Breaker, games for current video-capable iPods.
Editor's note: Of all the things, that we might have gotten--revised MacBook Pros, Penryn iMacs, an affordable mini-tower. An announcement that "moof" the "dogcow" is returning would have more import for the rest of us...
