MacBook Air [officially] ships
January 30th 2008
Apple has announced that it has begun shipping the MacBook Air, something that we all knew yesterday.
They also announced in the same PR that the promised Apple TV software update is not quite finished, saying it expects to ship it "in another week or two."
Previously, Steve had promised that the "Apple TV 2.0" update would be available about now.
Apple has posted a MacBook Air support page.
Editor's note: A couple odd things about today's press release:
1.) Neither of these happenings, singly or together is really worthy of an announcement.
2.) Apple didn't announce how many MBAs have been ordered nor did they tell us "x million" movies have been rented to date either--both are notable omissions.
What's your take?
