Apple has released a patch for QuickTime, the second in about three weeks.
Here's Apple's customary smidgeon of spin:
QuickTime 7.4.1 addresses security issues and improves compatibility with third-party applications.
Given that QT 7.4 broke After Effects rendering, the reference to third-party apps seems especially important--Macworld reports that QT 7.4.1 does indeed fix this issue.
Editor's note: In the grand scheme of things, three weeks for a patch is pretty fast. For video pros, who might excused for feeling abused, 21 days probably felt like months...
