Apple Event carded for Mar 6
February 27th 2008
Ars Technica brings us the news we've been waiting for--invitations for an iPhone SDK event have been sent out to "real" journalists, which of course doesn't include us.
Please join us to learn about the iPhone software roadmap, including the iPhone SDK and some exciting new enterprise features. The event takes place at Apple, Building 4, Town Hall on March 6 at 10am. Registration begins at 9am. Arrive early for this invitation-only event.
For its part, Sacramento Business Journal speculates enterprise features could mean "push email," which delivers mail directly to mobile devices from corporate networks.
Editor's note: It's pretty assured Flash won't make the cut for next week's event. 'Enterprise features' probably means some sort of MS Exchange support.
What else?
However, the language in Apple's invite doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Perhaps they won't release anything...
