Another OS X 10.5.3 seed

AppleInsider reports that the mothership seeded OS X 10.5.3 [9D34] over the weekend.

Yes, OS X 10.5.3 does address an ever lengthening list of bugs--220 in this particular non-public release. Specific improvements include better kernel performance, Dock, Finder, Spotlight and Sync services.

And, like the last umpteen seeds, this one arrives with "no known issues."

AppleInsider speculates that OS X 10.5.3 will be released at WWDC, along with the iPhone 2.0 software et al.

It's worth mentioning an IGM reader post vis-a-vis OS X 10.5.3 performance:

Delicious Library's newest [non-public beta] release 2.0 informs the user that it will run slowly under 10.5.2 but lightning-fast under 10.5.3, because it utilizes the vastly improved graphics capabilities of the newer version.

Will OS X 10.5.3 deliver on Leopard's promise? It's been a long time in coming, and something MacBook Pro and musicians have yet to taste...
