China [mostly] turns on iTunes back on

San Francisco Chronicle reports that China has unblocked access to the iTunes Store, but with a caveat--users in China can't see, listen to or buy Songs for Tibet (iTS). The album, containing music from Sting, Dave Matthews and Rush, was widely believed to have been the inspiration for the country's Communist rulers to black access last week after it had been downloaded by Olympic athletes.
At the time it was thought that Olympic athletes had downloaded the album from the Art of Peace Foundation, which supports various

An article on China.org.cn, a news website operated by the Chinese government's Internet Information Center, said Songs for Tibet had "ignited strong indignation" among Chinese Web users.
In addition to being inaccessible on iTunes, Songs for Tibet cannot be reached from China via Amazon.com or YouTube.
