NetFlix by Christmas?

In a NetFlix Blog posting, "Brent" reports that not only is he a Mac user, but he's expecting his company's download service to compatible with the fairer platform by year's end.
"And, for all of you Mac users (of which I am one) we've been busy working getting a solution that will allow you to watch instantly on your Mac," says Brent. "So hang in there--we'll have something for you by the end of the year."
That's not exactly platform parity as he only mentions Mac-bound playback and not Netflix Player (by Roku) compatibility. Also, given that the last week of the year is dominated by Christmas and New Year's, what Brent really meant to say was that we'd able to download and enjoy NetFlix movies on our Macs by the time Santa flies...
