Apple rumored to revamp iPhone 5 for smaller screen option

Mark Gurman for 9 to 5 Mac:

Instead of releasing a smaller version of the iPhone 6s in order to appease potential customers seeking an iPhone with a screen smaller than 4.7 or 5.5-inches, Apple is upgrading the existing iPhone 5s that was first released in fall 2013.

When the iPhone 6 came out, i knew someone who was really excited to upgrade. Stood in line to buy it and everything. They returned it that afternoon because it was too big.

I can get why the 6/6s Plus would be considered too big, but iPhone 6 doesn't seem that much of a difference to me. It didn't compute, but apparently these people exist I actually know I one of them.
