Apple bumps iPad storage, trims some prices


Apple Wednesday revised its iPad line. Storage options have been adjusted to be more similar to the iPhone's new levels while some prices have also been reduced.

Both 9.7 and 12.9 iPad Pro devices no longer have 16 GB options. Standard storage is 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.

On the 12.9 iPad Pro, the high-end 256 GB model price dropped $100 to $799 for Wi-Fi model and the 128 GB dropped $50 to $699 for the Wi-Fi model.

Similarly, the iPad mini 4 and iPad Air 2 also dropped its 16 GB model and now the base $399 models offers 32 GB.
