iPhone rumor round-up

It seems the rumors have been flowing early this year with the next iPhone. Part of that is most likely because the next Apple upgrade is highly anticipated as a major update after the iPhone 7 was limited to under the hood changes.

9 to 5 Mac has a nice roundup for those who don't follow such things that closely. One interesting tidbit I thought suggests the new top end iPhone may ship two months later than normal. This would push the device near Thanksgiving due to advanced features that may not be ready to ship in volume.

...it's believed that Apple will announce the iPhone 8 in September, but that because of the advanced production technology the device will require, it won't actually hit store shelves until a couple of months after that. According to reports, the 3D sensing technology and OLED display are what's causing Apple to push the release back.
