Second generation AirPods


Apple announced the first update to its popular AirPods. The updated wireless earbuds feature a new Apple-designed H1 chip for headphones and up to 50 percent longer talk time. Apple says the update will also improve the user experience of switching between devices with twice as fast connection times.

Apple is selling the AirPods with a wired charging case and an optional wireless case is available now. The AirPods sell for $159 and a bundle with the wireless charging case is $199. The wireless charging case by itself is available for $79. Each charging case offers an integrated battery so the AirPods can be recharged on the go.
